Self portrait

I’ve made many self-portraits in school, but I wanted to go to the next level by creating a realistic self-portrait. I learned to do this in a class where I drew myself–based on a photo–in pencil then painted it with acrylic paint. It was a long, but fun experience because I got the opportunity to get better at drawing as well as painting. This painting hangs in the hallway of my home.
